The Zaky ZAK® Sizing Guide
The Zaky ZAK® is engineered to provide a consistent level of care, fitting perfectly every time to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of both the baby and the adult. Proper sizing is crucial for the safe, hands-free holding of the baby while sitting or reclining.
Important Safety Warning
To ensure the baby’s safety, it is essential to follow all sizing instructions correctly. Proper sizing is the first step to safely holding the baby, and it must be done every time The Zaky ZAK® is used. Failure to ensure the correct fit and follow all guidelines may put the baby at risk. See all five safety conditions here.
Available Sizes
The Zaky ZAK® is available in four sizes, each with three zippers spaced 2 inches apart. This design accommodates adults with a chest circumference of 27 to 51 inches (69 to 129 cm), allowing for a perfect fit every time.
The zipper system ensures a consistent fit from top to bottom, avoiding the risks associated with other products that may be too tight (compromising breathing) or too loose (causing the baby to slide and potentially get injured).

What to Wear with The Zaky ZAK®
- For Skin-to-Skin Contact: Parents or individuals with explicit permission from the parents should wear The Zaky ZAK® over a bare torso or over/under a shirt that opens in the front. Ensure the chest is exposed where the baby will be placed.
- For Holding While Clothed: All others should wear The Zaky ZAK® over clothing, ideally a t-shirt or a shirt without buttons or anything on the front that could bother the baby. If possible, ladies should consider removing wire bras to provide added comfort for the baby, especially preemies.
