The Jersey Shore Mothers of Multiples (JSMOM) charity of the month of February is the one to love!
JSMOM is requesting donations to provide The Zaky HUG® to families at the Robert Wood Johnson's NICU located in New Brunswick, NJ, and has a Level IV NICU (inside The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital).
What is The Zaky HUG®?
The Zaky HUG® extends the power of the parent's touch to babies while they are on the bed or in the incubator for zero separation from the parents. The Zaky HUGs mimic the arms and hands that hug and calm the babies, position them properly, and give them a comfortable and predictable micro-environment that promotes sleep, and sleep is when the brain grows.
The Zaky HUG was engineered out of love and is based on science. It extends the power of touch to simulate the feeling of being held (like a HUG!) to increase melatonin and serotonin, the hormones responsible for exchanging cortisol (stress hormone) for relaxation and calmness. By virtually replacing all other developmental tools.

Babies also need to feel loved, especially if they are hospitalized. Let’s make this month’s goal and support families in one of the most traumatic times of their lives.
