How to Use The Zaky HUG®:
- Extend Your Touch: The Zaky HUG® is thoughtfully designed to absorb your scent and replicate the comforting feel of your touch. Adjust the filling for positioning, soothing, and providing gentle boundaries that help your baby feel secure.
- Select the Right Weight: For safety, use less than 10-15% of your baby’s weight on top of them. Each hand of The Zaky HUG® weighs 1.1 lbs. (500 gr), so you can adjust it as needed.
- Warm & Scent: Warm The Zaky HUG® against your skin, in a dryer, or in a towel warmer. Scent it by placing it on your chest or behind your neck for an hour or more, so your baby can feel close to you.
- Skin-to-Skin Care: The Zaky HUG® enhances Kangaroo Care by offering additional comfort and security. Use it as a neck roll during skin-to-skin sessions and leave it with your baby afterward to maintain that comforting connection. Pair it with The Zaky ZAK® (sold separately) for extra safety and support.
Caring for Your Zaky HUG®:
- Wash, Dry, Store: To keep The Zaky HUG® in the best condition, wash it in the organic cotton bag provided (or any wash bag), preferably avoiding artificial scents and harsh chemicals. For ABC safe sleep, remove The Zaky HUG® once your baby is asleep, ensuring they rest Alone, on their Back, and in their Crib.
